Can I use PositEasy on multiple devices?

Yes, you can use PositEasy Staff App on multiple devices simultaneously (e.g., a tablet or Windows PC for the billing counter and a mobile phone for taking orders at tables).

To do this, simply link all devices to the same account by logging in with your registered credentials.

How to Set Up Multiple Devices

  1. Install the PositEasy Staff App on all required devices (Android phones or tablets and Windows PC).
  2. Log in using the same staff app credentials (Terminal Id, mobile number and passkey).
  3. Ensure all devices are connected to the internet for regular app sync.

Best Practices: Syncing

To avoid order conflicts or mismatched data (e.g., Order Ids,table status or stock availability), follow these syncing rules:

1. Sync Before Billing

Always perform a Sync at the start of the shift or before taking new orders to ensure you have the latest menu, prices, and table status updates from other devices.

2. Sync After Billing

It is recommended to sync periodically or after major updates (like closing a shift) to ensure all other devices reflect the current sales data.

Data Conflicts: If multiple devices edit the same order simultaneously without syncing, data conflicts may occur. Always ensure your app is up-to-date by tapping the Sync button in the Settings > Account or (Refer to Sync Staff App for details).
